Hi. I'm Joan, an Irish woman (native speaker) who has six years experience in teaching English as a foreign language. Five of those years were in Spanish speaking countries and so am fluent in Spanish.
I taught adults mostly, but also children.
I taught one to one, groups, businesses , home tutoring, schools.
I have ample patience , experience of all levels, from zero English , to fluent.
I have much experience of dealing with all levels of competency to learn, and have been told many times that my English is very clear and easy to understand. I consider myself as very well traveled, cultured & with a wide variety of conversational skills & life experiences.
Having received a degree in English literature, my understanding of the English language is high, my vocabulary wide, my grammar excellent.
Having taught for many years and having a real passion for English (I often write poetry and short stories and read constantly) , I consider both my knowledge of English and my ability to teach, as exemplary.
