I obtain a BFA and furthering my studies at Columbia University in the Fall of next year in English Literature. I have a degree in Painting and Filmmaking with a minor in Creative Writing. Aside from a formal address, I have been a teacher for the arts for 4 years and counting. I have made curriculum around any level and any age! Based on my previous experience as a preschool teacher, the arts are a wonderful way to encourage a well-rounded education.
As for English, I am a fluent speaker and hold advanced degrees in the process. At any level, I can create a curriculum based on the child's level of comprehension. Do they like music? Let's put on the Beatles and sing along in English! Are they advanced readers? I have a whole collection of American Classic Novels. Whatever the needs for the child, I can provide and make it fun :). As a side note, I am almost fluent in French and a beginner in German.
