Bonjour, Amanda s’occupe de mon fils de 4 ans le samedi matin. Elle lui apprend l’anglais de façon très ludique à travers des jeux , des bricolages variés, des chansons et des livres. Elle joue même dehors avec lui et quand il a neigé elle a fait un bonhomme de neige avec mon fils. Ils cuisinent aussi des gâteaux. Mon fils qui ne connaissait pas l’anglais l’apprend en douceur et avec plaisir. Amanda prépare chaque session avec professionnalisme et s’adapte aux humeurs de mon fils. Je la recommande vivement

speaking nounou for our two Italo-American boys of six and three years. Amanda applied for the position and she was immediately very purposeful and proactive. She asked key information about our children in order to quickly understand their personalities and make -on the fly- a preliminary educational plan. Since then, she has been regularly (once per week) coming to our place to look after our children. Amanda always contacts us few days earlier to share with us a proposed plan for the day, and then brings over a bag full of material for activities including board games, tools for coloring or cooking ateliers. With Amanda, the children have felt at ease from the very first day. They adore spending time with Amanda and very much enjoy all the activities she proposes, while also feeling free to propose some of their own. Comments from our children best summarize their excitement in playing with Amanda; for instance, they have told us: “Now please go to work, we have to play with Amanda”, as well as “When Amanda is around, I try to be as fast as possible at the toilet so that I can play more with her”. Not only Amanda is great in entertaining our boys at home but she also takes them outside, to the library, park or games library. Language-wise, Amanda is very attentive to the different needs of our two boys. Having spent 4 years in the US, our older child speaks English, but with a level of confidence that had dramatically decreased following relocation to Geneva. Amanda is providing him with a very nurturing environment which makes him feel free to make mistakes and move forward. We can testify we have already seen great progress in terms of his language confidence and vocabulary. Our younger child only speaks a few words of English, so most of the time he would talk to Amanda in French while she is very attentive not only to respond in English but also to teaching him actively, for example by gently asking him to repeat sentences and words, reading English books with figures he can point to, or playing the role-games he loves and proposes. Amanda is very caring and sweet. She listens to the children’s needs and acts accordingly. She keeps them on schedule with feedings and nap times. She is punctual, reliable, trustworthy, and willing to learn and move forward in her professional career. We can only highly and enthusiastically recommend Amanda for a position with you :)

’ai souvent sollicité Amanda en tant que baby-sitter pour ma fille Aeden. Elle a prouvé qu’elle était quelqu’un de fiable, honnête, rassurante, disponible et ponctuelle. Amanda est une personne chaleureuse et patiente, qui a su parfaitement géré ma fille débordant d’énergie, et ce même après l’école ! Amanda est très créative, elle a mis en place des jeux différents pour interagir avec Aeden. Elle a également pris soin de tout préparer pour la journée du lendemain. Je tiens à ajouter qu’Amanda est une excellente cuisinière, qui nous a toujours cuisiner de succulents repas. Elle a également beaucoup aidé pour les tâches ménagères à la maison.
