Marika, Lehrer - Sprachen (Lugano - 6900)

Hello everyone,
I am Marika , I am almost 24 years old and I am currently living in Lugano.
I obtained a high school diploma at the Linguistic High School where i studied English, French and Spanish.
During my Bachelor studies in Languages for Business (English and Spanish languages of specialisation) at Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan, and more in particular in the third year, I got closer to the financial world with the study of different economics and financial subjects. Actually, during the COVID-19 pandemic I started to self-study some basic concepts of finance, to read books and approach such a big and complex world.
After completing my Bachelor studies, I applied for the current Master entirely taught in English in European Studies in Investor Relation and Financial Communication that actually is a joint degree of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan and the University of Italian Switzerland in Lugano to go ahead with my passion for the financial sector, communication, sustainability and last but not least languages (studied French in the first year).
During the first year of the MSc, I proved my ability to perform under pressure by doing an internship of 6 months at Bnp Paribas in Milan in the Global Custody Team and simultaneously studying for my exams and carrying out several projects in team . This combined experience not only prepared me for dealing with tremendously stressful situations and deadlines but also gave me invaluable knowledge of finance principles, communication and strengthen my languages’ ability essential to be successful in such a demanding business environment. As recognition for my excellent work, I have been offered a full-time position at Bnp Paribas.
Furthermore, in order to enhance my knowledge about capital markets and sustainability regarding ESG issues, I decided to take further university related course at the Polimi Graduate School of Management in Milan about ESG Analysis & Investing.
